What I Really Want to Do

February 19th, 2008

I’m going through Job Search Skills Workbook: Take Charge of Your Career, by The Art Institute of Houston, and this is exercise 1-2.

What I’d really like to do:

I want to own my own business, and work from home while raising my children. I have had many ideas for businesses.

I really do enjoy interior design, and would like to practice it. I’m only interested in a part-time business; I’m not career focused. It’s totally feasible. NCIDQ Day in WA

February 14th, 2008

Wow. I’m at a loss for words to describe how silly this is. Out of everything our “governor” is asked to sign, she puts her autograph on this?!

“NCIDQ works toward the acceptance of the NCIDQ examination as a universal standard to measure the competency of interior designers.” Hmm, I wonder what they are alluding to?

How are the people of WA to observe this special day?
