CHEA: Council for Higher Education Accreditation
A national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation
CIDA: Council of Interior Design Accreditation
Is an independent non-profit accrediting organization for interior design education programs at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada
They set standards for postsecondary interior design education, evaluate and accredit college and university interior design programs and facilitate outreach and collaboration with all stakeholders in the interior design community.
CQRID: The Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Designers
CQRID Examination: A professional examination given by the CQRID - 100% residential
IDEC: Interior Design Education Council’s mission is the advancement of interior design education and scholarship
NCIDQ: The National Council for Interior Design Qualification serves to identify to the public those interior designers who have met the minimum standards for professional practice by passing the NCIDQ Examination.
NCIDQ Examination: A professional examination in interior design – is reportedly 80% commercial
