Applebee's

Ashland, VA

Summary
Would we go there again: Not to that particular one

We've been to Applebee's before, and we like the restaurant in general, but this particular one was just not that great. This was mainly due to the smoke-filled bar right next to the dining area, and our relatively unhelpful server. The food was good though.

Comments & Ratings
Tim's Comments: This was pretty much the nearest place to the hotel we were staying in Virginia that night, and we ate there mostly out of convenience. Not that I don't like Applebee's, but we could have probably found a better local restaurant. Our waitress definitely seemed to not really care about us very much.

Jeni's Comments: I was quite disappointed in the service and the atmosphere. The food was good, but I don't think it would be worth enduring the poor service at this particular Applebee's. I don't hold this experience against all Applebee's, just the one we went to.
