Dolphin Den ![]() Summary
Would we go there again: No
Comments & RatingsA decent little seafood restaurant right on the main highway through the Outer Banks. The atmosphere is similar to the Seattle Crab Company, but the food was marginal at best. The main reason we wouldn't go back (aside from the low likelihood of another opportunity to), is that Jeni just wasn't impressed with the food.
Tim's Comments: You know, they call this place the Dolphin Den, but I just couldn't find dolphin on the menu anywhere! I liked this place okay, but the prices were a bit above the "okay" range. One thing that I should note though is that I really thought our server did a good job. He was very friendly and good at making conversation.
About the RestaurantJeni's Comments: I wouldn't recommend eating there. What they call "clam chowder" is really more like clam soup. Overall it just wasn't very appetizing. Service was friendly. Ratings
