China Harbor

Seattle, WA

Summary
Would we go there again: If you were paying, maybe.

Okay this place is really just kinda weird. It's worth going to at least once, just for the weirdness factor. See, it's a huge building right on Lake Union, with a nearly windowless, black front, and the restaurant is almost always nearly empty. Common rumor is that the restaurant is really a front for some sort of illicit operation. Judge for yourself.

Comments & Ratings
Tim's Comments: What a strange place. Decent food, great atmosphere, lovely water view, and okay-ish prices. It probably wouldn't be bad if you just ordered one thing to split between two or three people. The portions are big and meant to be served "family style," though the menu doesn't indicate that.

Jeni's Comments: Short version: very nice scenery, and atmosphere, unimpressive food and service. Oh, and the strangest thing about our visit was that we could hear two different radio stations playing at the same time. That was kinda chaotic.
